Bono Network Joins Berkeley Law Panel on the Future of Legal AI

·Bono Network

Bono Network was proud to take part in a panel discussion at UC Berkeley School of Law, exploring where legal AI is headed and the practical tools driving the industry forward.

Our co-founder Ashok Seetharaman joined Daniel Lewis, CEO of LegalOn Technologies, for a wide-ranging conversation on the state of legal AI, from the challenges firms face today to the cutting-edge solutions on the horizon. The discussion was moderated by Alexander Belkin, Founder & President of AI at Berkeley Law (AI@BL), who kept the conversation sharp and forward-looking.

Key Takeaways

The panel covered the growing demand for pragmatic, lawyer-grade AI tools: solutions that don't just automate tasks but genuinely augment legal reasoning and improve access to justice. Both Bono Network and LegalOn shared perspectives on how their platforms are addressing real-world legal challenges with AI-driven approaches.

A Collaborative Effort

A special thanks to the teams at AI at Berkeley Law (AI@BL), Legal Innovation and Entrepreneurship (LINE) at Berkeley, and the UC Berkeley Center for Law & Technology (BCLT) for organizing and hosting the event.

Conversations like these are what push the legal tech community forward. We're grateful for the opportunity to exchange ideas with some of the sharpest minds in the space, and we're more fired up than ever to keep building tools that make legal services accessible to everyone.
